Data Communication
The Data Communication specialized profession of SPTDIC mainly
engages the businesses of survey, consulting, planning and design
of the communication networkŁ¬data and information system projects
as well as the compiling of technical systems and standards,
whose business scope covers base data transmission network during
the data communication (DDN, frame relay, ATM, etc.), internet
(the Internet and large-scale telecommunication-level IP network)
and its business systems (large-scale E-mail, WWW websites,
WAP system, IDC, etc.), relevant supporting system of the data
communication network, the information service with computer
technology, network technology and database technology at the
core, building intelligentization, data network and broadband
multimedia system, etc.
SPTDIC provides a great amount of design and consulting services
in various fields of ATM/DDN/DCN digital data network, comprehensive
business network, IP MAN, upvaluation and business platform,
etc. to most of the communication managers. It has accomplished
the following critical programs: the projects of Shanghai Telecom
IP MAN, China high-performance broadband information demonstration
network (3Tnet), Shanghai Telecom customer service system, Shanghai
mobile customer service system, China Unicom CDMA 1X PBN, China
Unicom MAN comprehensive business network. China Telecomˇ˘Shanghai
Telecom Best Tone project, Shanghai Telecom "business pilot"
project, Shanghai Telecom elaborate MAN project, Shanghai Telecom
